We actually have two dogs that roam the house: Tech and Jake.

Jake has never been formally introduced.  Tech is food smart, Jake is street smart.  His full name is actually Jake The Snake if you aren’t into the whole brevity thing.

We and by we I mean my parents rescued Jake, he is a retired racing greyhound(if you didn’t gather that from his name).  He retired at the ripe ‘ol age of 3 or 21 in dog years…. either way he’s livin the good life.

The two get along very well until they get outside.  Jake’s idea of fun is running around and basically chasing Tech down and nipping him on the butt.  Tech now realizes when Jake starts running on a tear in the backyard it is time to high-tail it to the porch or behind the wood pile.

Our dog herd of two.

Wonderful B&W’s. Really nice tones.

Emma | CT Pet Photographer

Emma the socialite, she didn’t always have to be the center of attention, but she certainly wanted to be with everyone all the time.

She was also the household hoover vacuum cleaner, but I suppose any dog that lives with a two year old will begin to understand that only about 1/2 of what is on their plate will actually make it into their mouth; the other half will inevitably fall on the floor.

Landon was the little guy generous enough to donate half of lunch to Emma.

What a great duo Emma and Landon made; I enjoyed every second of their company

You have an amazing ability to capture the essence, personality, and soul of these animals, every single time. Keep it up.

I swear, every set looks better and better. It’s honestly amazing. I need to get a dog (and apparently a cute kid) so you can photograph them.

Oh, I LOVE the shot with the dog nose almost on the table! Too cute. 🙂 All of your work is beautiful, Ty!

Yay!

Treasure’s prints came in!! I am so excited, and what an outstanding job Millers did!

The 4×6 and 6×9 are all neatly and awesomely boutique packaged and the metallic 10×15 look freakin cool too!

I think I am a little too excited, but hey whatcha gonna do?

I think anyone who loves photography so much that they photograph photographs is going to be a huge success. Just my opinion.

Correction: I think anyone who loves photography so much that they photograph photographs – and make them look awesome – is destined to be extremely successful.

Fred | CT Pet Photographer

Urban dictionary defines the word “ballin” as To live a rich, upper-class life after growing up poor.

Well Fred is ballin out now

He was a Katrina dog; but a loving family rescued Fred and gave him a good home.

Did I mention that he is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met?

Unfortunately this wasn’t a full session, I was just stopping by to hang out with his owner and couldn’t resist snapping a few!

Fred is to rubbies as Popeye is to spinach……………………. he simply can’t get enough

Mama’s Baby, | CT Pet Photographer

Koz, Kozmo, Kozmo Kramer(when he’s in trouble) and El Jefe.

Who doesn’t have a million nicknames?  Mama’s Baby belongs to some really good friends of mine; Big Jeff and Kim, who just got married!!!

I was up there a little bit ago for Kim’s bridal shower and I was able to grab some quick pictures of Kozmo.
